Sio modern taklampa i blomform, svart/vit, för hallen

I was mainly drawn to the overall finish, but the design has more depth than the photographs show. On the practical side, it has been dependable since installation. Now the darker evenings have arrived, my partner has completely changed their mind about it. I have taken off one star because the ceiling plate is a touch larger than it looked in the photographs. Everything else has worked well.

Once the position was marked, the rest of the job went smoothly, without making the rest of the room feel busy. From the sofa, the furniture looks more connected. When it is switched on, the effect is gentle rather than theatrical. Perhaps the best compliment I can give it is that I am glad I did not choose the safer option.

My partner noticed this one first; it had enough detail without looking fussy. The finish is the part I keep noticing, especially on grey mornings. After a few weeks, it is not flashy, and that is exactly the point. A very satisfying update overall.

Nothing had shifted in transit and all the small pieces were present. For our room, the practical side has been good too: we no longer need a second lamp on at the same time. In this particular position, perhaps the best compliment I can give it is that I am still pleased we chose this one. It has made everyday evenings noticeably nicer.

This turned out to be a very easy win. It looks more considered than the product photographs. Without changing anything else, the change is subtle but easy to notice. A detail I appreciate in daily use is that everything has stayed level so far.

After comparing far too many options, this stayed on the shortlist because the finish worked with furniture we already owned. The evening effect is better than expected because it adds atmosphere without leaving the room gloomy. With everything else back in place, living with it has confirmed the decision: my partner has completely changed their mind about it. It has earned a permanent place in the room.

Nothing about the visible finish feels rushed; it has a softer tone in person. Since it went up, the ceiling no longer looks like an afterthought. Definitely one of the better things we bought for the house.

Unlike the first sample we tried, this one does not make the room feel flat. It is not just decorative; we no longer need a second lamp on at the same time. It is one of those details that quietly does its job. I cannot think of anything I would change.

What convinced me was that it had enough detail without looking fussy. It arrived ready to install rather than needing any tidying first. Its scale makes sense in the room, and the form sits comfortably with the rest of the room. As it turns out, we have already considered another for a different space.

Since it went up, the room has gained character without extra clutter, without making the rest of the room feel busy. With everything else back in place, the finish gives it personality, while the rest of the design keeps the overall look calm. More importantly, it gives enough light for an ordinary evening. It feels special without trying too hard.

It took two of us to hold it level, although the actual connection was simple, which suits this room well. I was mainly drawn to the shape, but the unlit shape still looks decorative during the day. A detail I appreciate in daily use is that it works just as well on grey mornings as it does at night. This is not something I say about every purchase, but it is the first thing I notice when I enter the room.

I kept returning to this design because the shape looked less generic than most of the others. The proportions work better than they did on what I had pictured before it arrived; opening the parcel was pleasantly uneventful. Against the rest of our furniture, the details are noticeable without dominating. Once everything was back in place, the wall has a clear point of interest.

From where we normally sit, this turned out to be a very easy win. I was worried about glare, but the glow is even rather than patchy. In the context of the whole room, the room looks calmer from the doorway. From across the room, I am still pleased we chose this one. It feels special without trying too hard.
