Elixor modern färgglad taklampa, sovrum/hall

The old ceiling light was perfectly functional, but the design looked interesting even when switched off. Delivery was on time and the inner packaging did its job; opening the parcel was pleasantly uneventful. I was mainly drawn to the sculptural shape, but the shape changes subtly as you walk past. After the initial novelty wore off, I am still pleased we chose this one. One minor drawback: fingerprints show on the finish until it is wiped down. Overall, I am still pleased with it.

The decision came down to one thing: the shape looked less generic than most of the others. The parcel was larger than expected, though everything inside was secure. During the day, the scale feels properly judged, so the ceiling light does not look like a dark object overhead. During an ordinary weeknight, I have stopped noticing the old problem with the room.

Getting the height right took a little thought, but the final position works well, with no visible hardware left out of place. In this particular position, nothing about the visible finish feels rushed; it has a softer tone in person. Nothing complicated here; the mounting plate sits neatly, which suits this room well. Since then, it is the first thing I notice when I enter the room.

This looks like it was chosen for the space, not added afterwards. This was not the obvious choice for us, though the design looked interesting even when switched off; the effect is understated in person. I expected something close to the cheaper options we considered, but the finish is much nicer in real life. The finish is the part I keep noticing, especially during an ordinary weeknight. This was meant to be a small update, but the space feels more personal; that balance was hard to judge from the photographs.

This turned out to be a very easy win. This was not the obvious choice for us, though the scale appeared sensible for an everyday room. With everything else back in place, it looks more considered than several similar designs online. Seen up close, the shape changes subtly as you walk past. Without changing anything else, the room now feels properly finished.

This turned out to be a very easy win. We almost went with something plainer, but the finish worked with furniture we already owned, without making the rest of the room feel busy. This has settled into the room more naturally than what I had pictured before it arrived. Nothing about the visible finish feels rushed; the piece has presence but does not feel heavy, without making the rest of the room feel busy. Compared with our previous light, the room now feels properly finished.

I chose this ceiling light because we wanted a change that would not date quickly. Our electrician had it in place without needing to alter anything. In the context of the whole room, the change is subtle but easy to notice. This is not something I say about every purchase, but guests have asked where it came from.

My partner noticed this one first; the design looked interesting even when switched off. The instructions were brief, but the labelled parts made sense, without making the rest of the room feel busy. In the context of the whole room, the room looks calmer from the doorway. After the initial novelty wore off, I am still pleased we chose this one.

After a few weeks, the finish needed no cleaning before it was fitted. There is more character in the sculptural shape than the listing suggested, yet it still feels restrained, without making the rest of the room feel busy. With the main lights off elsewhere, it makes the corner feel calmer at night, without making the room feel clinical. As it turns out, we have already considered another for a different space.

My partner noticed this one first; it had enough detail without looking fussy, which suits this room well. Once the position was marked, the rest of the job went smoothly. In the context of the whole room, the room has gained character without extra clutter. This is not something I say about every purchase, but I am glad I did not choose the safer option.

Delivery was on time and the inner packaging did its job. The shape gives it personality, while the rest of the design keeps the overall look calm; that balance was hard to judge from the photographs. What matters in daily use is that the glow is even rather than patchy, which works well in the room. After the initial novelty wore off, it feels as though it has always belonged here; that balance was hard to judge from the photographs.

The finish needed no cleaning before it was fitted. There is more character in the finish than the listing suggested, yet it still feels restrained. The practical side has been good too: we no longer need a second lamp on at the same time, and it looks natural in this setting. This is not something I say about every purchase, but the result feels personal rather than staged.
