Viraelise Wall Sconce
Description
Key Features
- Walnut Wood Swing Arm: Solid walnut wood arm with two pivot joints (top section 27.9cm″, lower 30cm″) allows you to adjust the swing and position the shade exactly where you want.
- Hand-Laid Capiz Shell Shade: Natural windowpane oyster shell (Capiz) tiles are laid by hand over a metal frame, giving each shade a subtle translucency and unique tile placement for a soft, warm glow when lit.
- Plug-In — No Electrician Needed: A brass-tone twisted cord plugs into a standard wall outlet. No junction box or wiring is required, making it a renter-friendly lighting solution.
Use Case
The Shellora's biggest advantage is its plug-in installation — no electrician, junction box, or permit required. Simply mount the walnut bracket with the included wall anchors, plug it in, and switch it on. This makes it perfect for renters, dorm rooms, and any space without existing sconce wiring. The swing arm extends approximately 23″ from the wall and folds back when not in use.
Choose your shade style based on its function. The Tapered Cone (A) provides directional light, ideal for desks or vanities. The Bell (B) has a taller, pendant-like silhouette, perfect as a bedside reading sconce. The Dome (C) is low-profile and casts the widest light, suitable for hallways or over consoles. The walnut, brass, and natural shell palette pairs beautifully with coastal, Hamptons, and mid-century modern decor.
